MadeForMums test-tested the Cybex Avi Spin for us and was able to go on a test run with one of Australia's most accomplished middle-distance runners Genevieve Gregson who recently became a mother. We asked Genevieve Gregson what she thought about the pram, and whether it could be improved.

The Avi Spin is a fantastic All terrain prams-terrain stroller that offers the flexibility that modern families requires from the moment they start. The front swivel is unmatched in its maneuverability in tight city corners, and the air-filled tires offer comfortable cushioning when strolling through the city or taking nature walks. The swivel is lockable for additional stability when on rough terrain or when running and the fully reclining seat has an ergonomic lie-flat position that is suitable for babies from birth. The harness with one pull makes it easy to get access to the inside and out, while the compact fold makes it easy to store or transport. The wheels can also be removed to create a smaller fold! It's unfortunate that the brake lever is located on the right-hand side of the handlebar since this makes it difficult to operate using just one hand.

Out N About Nipper V5

With the Out N About Nipper V5 you can take your child for exciting off-road walks and jogging smooth in complete comfort. The Nipper Double is towards the upper end of the price scale for side-by-side prams however, it is sturdy and high-quality, and can be used from newborn to around four years old. The user's manual is clear and easy to understand. The only issues I have is that they're noisy as well as clunky. Also, the Velcro used to secure them could make your baby scream. This is especially a problem if you're walking quietly through the park, and do not want to disrupt other parents. A storage area was also mentioned as a problem.

It does have some drawbacks, however - it's not cheap and should you be seeking a product to use from birth to the age of then you might struggle to find a better price elsewhere. It's also very heavy, so you might require help to move it into your car. There are a few small honeycomb-like exposed areas in the lower part of the seat that could become an ideal place for dumping and spilled drinks.
