I'm heading to Ho Chi Minh City on Vietjet for the first time from Kansai Airport after a long time.

The plane was less than 50% full, and I had a seat for three people, but I had it all to myself.

We departed at 9:30 on schedule, and arrived in Ho Chi Minh City at 13:00 local time after a 5.5 hour flight.

Immigration was super crowded and it took just under an hour to get through, but I only had to submit my passport and nothing else.

My friend came to pick me up, so we went to the Caravelle Hotel in the city center.

There were still as many motorbikes as ever, which was nostalgic.

I unloaded my luggage and went to the currency exchange near Ben Thanh Market. This is the best exchange rate.

But the yen is still weak. In the past, 10,000 yen rarely went below 2 million dong, but now it's 1.68 million dong.

Afterwards, I met up with my work colleagues and went to 4 Piece Pizza, a restaurant that is said to be popular in Ho Chi Minh City recently.

This restaurant is run by Japanese people, so the employees are thoroughly trained and the service was very polite!

Of course, the food was delicious ????

After that, I was tired, so I safely got a normal massage and headed to the casino in the hotel where I was staying!

It's called Vegas Casino and is for foreigners only.

When you show your passport at the entrance, you will immediately be given a membership card.
