Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

The upgrade of gear can increase its base stats and sometimes boosts its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random augmentations applied.

For example, the elite shield for racial discrimination Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to provide additional defenses on missile based designs in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable over the unupgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens permit you to buy a new item, like armor, weapon, or ring. The item is replaced with an identical item however with different benefits. Reroll tokens can be an efficient method of upgrading equipment. However, they don't keep the level of the original item and any resources that are wasted won't be compensated for.

Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors through several means like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests, or purchased from the store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens are used to change the attribute of an item of equipment, for example increasing the damage it can cause.

Players can reroll their equipment into three attributes: physical power, magic power and health. Upgrades to physical power boost the damage of melee and weapons attack and spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades give players additional health.

There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to a higher quality. To produce them, you need an upgrade level token to reroll. Upgrades that are enhanced require a standard item, rare upgrades require a unique or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

As opposed to other tokens or markers that are placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains in the space until the next success result is repeated. This is a way to prevent the waste of upgrades.

Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Stage, and can be opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they display a full description and an icon for the relevant appliance or ingredient. The restaurant's store will exchange blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.

As a result, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop can offer to reroll, and those that are located in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve armor, weapons and other items. These are special stones which increase the value of an item by increasing its stats or attributes. These items can be obtained by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. These stones can also be obtained by players who sign daily contracts.

To upgrade equipment players must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". The menu will be displayed that shows the item's current status and what it will be after being leveled up, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to accomplish this. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade a piece depends on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone.

Once they have decided on the upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the appropriate cost. Once the requirements are satisfied, the user can select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level by a certain percentage. Depending on the item's rarity and rarity, the upgrade process could be as quick as a few seconds to minutes.

The upgrade process is also risk-free and doesn't affect the longevity of the item. This is a great way for players who wish to get an edge in combat, but don't want to burden their wallets. Moreover, players can transfer the experience and advancement of an upgraded item onto a new one by clicking on the "transfer" tab.

The process of acquiring Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty is a daunting task for novice players. There are a variety of ways to obtain these stones, such as contract completion and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests of the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is a feature that lets players boost the base stats of weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. It is achieved by the combination of an item with upgrades at the Upgrade Station and paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume the upgrade materials and grant the item an increased level, which gives the item an additional boost in that area. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item is attained.

Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as an icon of blue next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments cannot be added to more than one item at once. Furthermore, each upgrade component will require a certain quantity of items to be added, as well as a minimum level for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station comes with two slots: the first is where players can place an item to be upgraded, and the right shows a preview of what the equipment will appear like when it reaches its next level. Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can be slotted into weapons, armor trinkets and gathering tools to give an attribute bonus or extra effect when the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased from vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be swapped by acquiring new ones. However, this can destroy the old upgrade.

Requirements

The upgrades to items allow players the ability to increase certain attributes of weapons and armor that they currently have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item upgrader mod differ based on the type of item level upgrade however, generally you'll require Dilithium as well as a few Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).

The upgrade items can be slotted into equipment set pieces and weapons for added effects or a higher level of the item. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, including crafting, buying at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component has been added to an item upgrader kit, it cannot be removed and substituted without restriction, however the glyphs used in gathering tools can be swapped out without restriction.

Upgrades can increase an item's Mark Level or Rarity. Some upgrade components also have additional modifiers that can boost the stats of the item.

For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" increases base defense and adds an extra 20% chance to block. The DPS "Wildfire" however increases damage from weapons.

Upgrades can be beneficial to some items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable to players when they achieve an exact roll. For instance, a flawlessly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50 times the value of the unupp'd version.

The game will display the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that is incorporated into the item. These include the type of item (either Armor or Weapon) and the tier of that item and the Upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.

The game will add an item in your inventory after you've met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then change to show you how far you are towards getting the upgrade completed. You can also track the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
