1. Roomba j7+ iRobot from iRobot.

The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's most intelligent robot vacuum deals vacuum to date. Its biggest breakthrough is its camera-based obstacle detection system that utilizes built-in AI to detect objects such as charging cords, shoes, and the dreaded pet waste the majority of other robots cannot avoid (and often plough right through). It's also the first robot to automatically send you a photo of an object it encounters so that you can tell it to avoid it in the future.

The Combo J7+ is the best robot hoover to mop we've ever tested, picking up spills and dirt effortlessly while leaving no trace it was there. The iRobot application makes it simple to control. You can schedule cleanings, and also create Keep Out Zones to ensure that it doesn't clean in areas you don't want. It's also compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can control it from start to stop using your voice.

Its design is also a step above the competition, with a sleek top piece that appears more like a toy rather than a loud, loud one. And the Clean Base automatic floor vacuum Dirt Disposal System self-empties which is great for reducing your cleanup time.

In our tests, we observed that the j7+ swiftly eliminated dirt, dust and pet hair. The counter-rotating rubber brushes kept the debris in place instead of scattering it on the floor. It was able to capture small gravel, sand and even a little grit. Most robots can't do this. And all of this without getting caught in our pet's hair shedding.

While it's not quite as efficient as the $1,217 iRobot Roomba s9+ Auto-Emptying Vacuum, which isn't able to clean stairs The j7+ is still an excellent choice for those who need mopping and a vacuum in their home. It's not expensive, and the iRobot application makes it user-friendly.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use but we found it less reliable as other robotic cleaner apps. It can take some time to download updates, and sometimes it's difficult to tell if the update is actually working until you've seen it in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking for a robotic floor vacuums vacuum cleaner that does more than just clean your floors then a hybrid is the ideal choice. These bots are equipped with a water tank so they can mop and vacuum at the same time. They also come with many additional features, including smart mapping, small object avoidance, and the ability to wash and re-dry mopping pads. The disadvantage is that they can be pricey at full retail, but during Black Friday and Cyber Monday they are often reduced in price.

Roborock is one of our top robot vacuums and the Q5+ isn't an exception. It's the cheapest model in their auto-empty line. Although it doesn't come with some of the premium features (like no-go zones and multi-story memories) however, it's an excellent choice when you're willing to make a few compromises to save a few bucks.

The Q5+ is noticeably gentle around obstacles like wall legs and table legs which makes it an excellent choice for homes with lots of furniture. It is also very thorough in cleaning dust bunnies. This is a place where most robot vacuums of lower quality do not excel in. The technology used to navigate in the Q5+ is fantastic and has very few misses in corners and along walls.

The Q5+, like other Roborock products can be controlled via only a few buttons on your device or via the Roborock App. Through the app, you can start and stop cleanings and schedules, as well as create virtual barriers and no-go zones, and modify your home map or re-label rooms.

If you decide to go with the Q5+, it comes with a new auto-empty dock that's designed specifically to make this robot easy to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver, but once it's installed, emptying the bin can be accomplished without difficulty. It also features an impressive LCD display, which is nice to have when setting up schedules or adjusting settings. Its vacuuming performance is quite impressive, too. It's the few robot vacuums I've tested that does a really good job of picking up debris on unfinished floors, and it's not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.

However, the Freo X Ultra has its faults, especially when it comes to navigation. Its LiDAR and laser sensors aren't as reliable as some other robovacs, which means it can get stuck or confused in certain areas of the home. It's also unable to climb stairs as well as other models and doesn't come with a dock that can create a cleaning zone for plush carpets.

However, if you're looking to save some cash or don't want to think about the limitations of this machine there are many other options on the market with a wide range of eufy models priced considerably less. The Eufy Qrevo curv, for example, is cheaper however it comes with many more features, like the ability to climb stairs and a full-function Dock, that provides a better overall vacuuming experience on bare floors carpets, low-pile carpets, and even high-pile ones.

4. Eufy RoboVac G30

eufy is an Anker company that has an established track record of making robot vacuums that have the right balance of features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning power for hard and carpeted floors, as well as mopping capabilities at a reasonable price. It's easy to set up, simply connect one of the side brushes and turn it on, then connect the charging dock. The way that the G30 cleans is what differentiates it from other models. It uses an integrated map to create a picture of the immovable items that are in its path. It remembers what it has already cleaned and where it cannot access. It automatically returns to the base to recharge and continues cleaning the area it left.

The elegant G30 has a few flaws. The iRobot Roomba is more durable and has lower cost of operation. It charges faster, has a similar battery life, and performs better on bare floors or low-pile carpet. It also has a larger dust bin that doesn't require to be empty as often and comes with the boundaries to restrict it from certain areas. The G30 is, however, is more affordable and is much simpler to maintain. Its smaller dust container doesn't require as frequent emptying and it struggles less with bulky materials like cereal.
