WoW Upgrades - The item level upgrade Upgrader

Upgrades can give you an increase in certain stats. Each upgrade boosts the level of an item by +3. A random additional substat is also increased with every upgrade.

The upgraded gear is usually more useful, unless the item is not required by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a high variance in stats (like Eth Titan weapons). These types of gear get less value from upgrading due to the requirement to roll for a perfect model.

Recycle Points

The upgrader for items allows players to upgrade gear to a higher level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of armor or weapons. However, the item that is used to upgrade will be consumed for the duration of time and will not be able to be used again. Upgrades can also be applied to enhancements.

The upgrader can be found in all major cities and can be accessed at any time to upgrade your equipment. It is recommended that you visit the upgrader every few weeks, to ensure that your equipment is up-to-date.
