World of Warcraft Item Upgrades

Upgrades to items are an essential part of gearing up your character. Upgrades increase the base damage as well as enchantments of items.

They also offer bonuses and enhancements. They are available through the Blacksmith.

Players can recycle any item upgrader mod by pressing the upgrade button on it. Every item recycled adds level to the gauge for upgrading.

Weapon

When an item upgrader is upgraded, it gains an initial damage bonus as well as a scaling factor that influences other stats. The weapon can also gain a number of upgrade components that provide additional attributes or effects as well as distinctive cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be put into weapons, armor, trinkets, and gathering tools. Most require that the equipment have an upgrade slot available and meet certain specifications. When a weapon or armor piece is equipped with an upgrade component it, it can be upgraded with a different one but the prior upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). Upgrade components can be retrieved by using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage Tool, or by using a high-end salvage tool on the item upgrader kit it self.

In addition to the basic upgrades, a weapon may be upgraded by adding a Calibration Attribute that improves certain stats like Weakspot Damage or Crit Rate. This is done via the Gear Workbench's interaction menu. This can be done four times based on the weapon's level.

When the weapon is at the maximum level of upgrade, it may be rebuilt using a variety of different types of upgrades to increase certain stats or add bonuses and effects. A variety of these upgrades can be used at once, and the effects are based on the rarity of the weapon.

Two Blacksmiths are able to perform these upgrades in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. The upgrade materials are both different: Smithing Stones to modify the kind of damage a weapon deals and Somber Smithing Stones to alter the standard weapons.

In general, it's advisable to improve your weapon's damage first. Then, you can upgrade your armour defense and finally, the secondary stats that are required by your build. In particular, it is common to see melee druids upgrade their weapon before they upgrade any other gear, since this helps maximise DPS. This is especially relevant for enchantments that boost a weapon's stats and damage.

Armor

Item Upgrades let players increase the stats base of certain armor pieces, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools. These upgrades can also have additional effects such as increased damage or cosmetic enhancements. Item Upgrades can be obtained through crafting, buying from NPC vendors or loot drops, or as quest rewards.

Armor can be improved by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. In most cases the armor can be upgraded to the next level once an upgrade is applied. This can be done for all types of armor, however certain items are not upgradeable at all (such as the armor that is used as a starter in Great Sky Island).

The majority of armor upgrades provide only a slight increase in an item's base defense or strength. Certain upgrades, however, could result in significant improvements in strength or defense. This is especially the case when upgrading epic items.

Some upgrades provide specific abilities that can be activated while wearing armor. These abilities can be useful in combat, such as granting a buff to attack speed or blocking. Certain upgrades also have passive effects, like reducing the amount of damage taken when wearing armor, or giving you a the chance to avoid attacks.

Upgrades to armor may require several attempts, depending on the type. If a player wishes to upgrade Steelclash armor into Dragonscale and the first attempt will result in a brand new Dragonscale armor with the defense base ranging from 59 to 67. The second attempt would result in a new Dragonscale armor that has the base defense between 67 and 77 and it goes on.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players upgrade their armor sets up to level 4. To do this, they must visit each of the four locations referred to as Great Fairy Fountains in the game. Each of these locations houses the power of a fairy who can upgrade one piece of armor for the player.

Despite popular belief armor isn't useless in The Division 2. Certain armors provide a significant boost in the reduction of the damage caused by poison or curse, magic or fire. This makes them very valuable for certain types of builds. There are other methods to improve armor stats besides upgrading the armor, like using the engineer attribute to increase armor penetration or the challenger trait to decrease the weight of the entire armor.

Potion

A potion can be upgraded by putting it in an brewing stand in order to unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks a new level of effects from the potion and can be repeated to increase the potency.

The potion also gets an individual color code, which the player can choose using /give and which alters the area-of-effect clouds and arrows created by the potions. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion colour also applies to the particle effects of the potions.

The water bottle, the mundane thick and awkward potions now have a fresh texture of brewing. In the Creative Inventory the potion healing and weakness have been added. In addition, there are lingering potions which can be made with splash potions or Dragon breath. Also included is a potent potion that has the status effect Mining Fatigue. Trinket

A trinket can be an inexpensive, small ornament or piece of jewelry. It could be a ring or necklace. Or, it could be a tiny banner used to mark the yard of a lateen boat. It can also refer to a gilded trinket on the mast of a ship.

This macabre trinket is believed to be influencing the inhabitants of this maze, making them more common. At present it makes all types of mimic Xx more prevalent and gives every floor a Y% chance of having an ebony mimic. Upgrades to this trinket require a small amount of energy.

This enchanted Scepter's magic seems to alter the dungeon's environment, increasing its likelihood of generating grass and water. At its current level this trinket makes X% of the floors filled with water or grass, however it won't affect enchantments or symbols, cursed weapons or armor, or other items created to solve hazard rooms.

While it looks like a normal newt's eye, this mysterious item upgrader mod appears to be affecting your vision in ways that go beyond simply reducing your field of view. At the present time, this trinket boosts the overall health of the drinkers of healing, waterkins, and wells of health by X% and gives you vision on enemies within the Y tiles. This trinket is not stacked with the Increased Senses.

Skull Cavern is where you will find Trinkets after completing the Mastery Cave. You can find them by defeating Monsters and in chests and crates. They are not in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.

Place the trinket in the Anvil when it needs to be upgraded. This will cause an unpredictable impact on the trinket either increasing its duration or strengthening its effects. You can reuse the Trinket as many times as you want, but it will always be able to produce a new effect.

You can also enhance your Trinkets by placing them in a magical catalyst at the Alchemy Station. This will cost 6 energy, however it will increase the trinkets power by a small amount.
