It's extremely quick and does a great job of cleaning my two-bedroom apartment. It can vacuum carpeted rooms fast and hardwood floors in the living room, kitchen, and hallways with just one sweep. Its 8,000pa motor is able to remove dirt, pet hair, and droppings effortlessly. Carpet detection automatically boosts power when it detects rugs, and the dual side brushes help to clean debris from corners.

The mopping performance, though still impressive, isn't as effective. The rotating mop spins at a high speed and pushes down with 2.2lbs of force, effortlessly cleaning up dirt and staining. I've noticed that the front arm sticks out a little more than other robots. This is helpful in tight corners or on baseboards. The same front arms can be used to sweep larger objects, such as broken toys and books.

Another nice feature is that the S1 Pro is one of the quietest robot vacuums and mop I've ever tried. It is quieter and doesn't create as much noise when vacuuming or mopping. The S1 Pro is only limited by the fact that it needs to utilize a specific mopping solution and is sold separately. It is easy to set up and performs well. However, if you are buying this robot vacuum for mopping purposes, you will need to pay attention to this.

The X1 Omni is the most expensive robotic vacuum that is able to mop in our review, but it comes with some unique features that are worth taking into consideration. The X1 Omni's most appealing feature is its massive dock, which doubles as a charging base and housing for two water tanks, a cleaning sink and an automatic vacuum and mop 2.5-liter dust bin that automatically eliminates.

The base has several control buttons, which allow you to manually start a cleaning task or recall the robot, or run the dock’s auto-emptying procedure. Hold down two buttons to turn off a child lock that is a great option for parents concerned about their children playing with the vacuum.

The X1 Omni like other robotic cleaner and mop vacuums, utilizes its camera to identify obstacles and furniture in its path. It will stay clear of them. True Mapping 2.0 navigation maps your home up to four times faster than laser detection systems.

Unfortunately this means that the X1 Omni could occasionally become so entangled with an obstacle--such as an electrical cord dangling across a rug, that it gets stuck and stops working until you free it. Although this is not a common occurrence but it was a very frustrating experience when it happened and especially because the X1 Omni does not have a "stuck" status alert in its application.

Another issue that could be a problem is another issue is the X1 Omni's inability to automatically switch between vacuuming and mopping modes during a cleaning session. You'll need to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't that bad however, the mopping pad isn't cleaned or dried between uses. This can cause mildew and mold.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who designed its sleek, modern base and mopping pad. It's a significant difference from the utilitarian black bases of rivals like Roborock or iRobot. It's also an impressive sight in the market that is dominated by boxes.
