The S8 Pro Ultra has an improved suction capacity which allows it to remove smaller hairs and other particles other robotic cleaners may miss.

As with the other two Roborock models I've tested it also has a 3D obstacle avoidance and infrared technology which can help it avoid furniture, walls and other obstacles. However, the S8 Pro Ultra takes things an extra step by incorporating a dual camera that can recognize objects and determine whether they are a wall or another surface. It then can alter its direction in a way that is automatic vacuum cleaner and clean around the objects, without missing a step.

This is the most expensive of the three models I've examined, however, it's also the most loaded with features. Its sleek angular design is eye catching and only has three buttons that are physically accessible. The power button, which also resumes the cleaning mop function, a button for cleaning that doubles as a child-lock and a home-button that can send the robot to its dock. The docking station can automatically empty the dustbin and wash the mop pads, then refill them with fresh cleaning solution and water. It will also tell you if the mop pad has reached its maximum capacity and notify you of the situation prior to it bursting.

4. L20 Ultra

The L20 Ultra is a high-end robot that is among the most expensive on the market, but it packs in a lot of additional features that make it stand out.
