WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a boost to specific stats. Each upgrade increases Item level Upgrade level by +3. Each upgrade also increases an unspecified substat.

Upgraded gear generally sees greater value for trade, unless it has inherently low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or very high stat variance (like eth titan weapons). Upgrades are less important for those with lower requirements due to the need to roll the perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader lets players upgrade their gear by giving the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied on any type of armor or weapons. However, the item that is used for the upgrade will be consumed forever and will not be able to be used again. Upgrades can also be applied to the enchantments.

You can upgrade your gear at any time by visiting the upgrader in any major city. To keep your gear up-to-date it is recommended you visit the upgrader every few weeks.

The cost of upgrades will be based on the current level of the gear being upgraded, but will always be cheaper than buying new gear from other sources. Upgrades like upgrading a Benthic chest to the level of ilvl385 will cost you 20 recycle points. A similar item will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are useful items that are used to upgrade weapons tools, armor, and accessories. They can be bought by players from NPCs who sell upgrades for items in exchange for a variety of currencies, and may also be found in random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade is able to be used on any weapon, tool, or armor. button, which displays an image of the item at the next upgrade level when the player has enough materials.

The cost of upgrading is based on the item slot and the current level of the item as well as the level of the weapon, which is more than gloves or bracers, for example. Each upgrade cost 15 Flightstones plus a specific number of crests. Some upgrades offer a discount on the Flightstones. Crests

The use of these currencies isn't too difficult however, the system will introduce a few changes to the overall upgrade process. For instance, once an item level upgrade reaches the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, Hero, or Mythic) it won't need Flightstones to be upgraded. This change is intended to allow players to upgrade their gear up to the highest ilvl possible on all their characters, rather than relying solely on seasonal loot.

It's also crucial to choose crests with care, since they have only one purpose. For instance, it's a good idea utilize all of your Whelpling rank crests on the top equipment you have and keep Drake and Wyrm crests for the next round of upgrades you're planning to create. This is especially true for items like rings and trinkets that fill multiple slots on the character, which can only be eligible to take advantage of the account-wide discount when all slots are full of high-quality gear.
