Best robotic hoovers Mop and Vacuum Combos

Most robot vacuum-mop combos can be customized with an app that can save maps of your home, set cleaning schedules and select mopping options. You can also alter the suction power and fine tune the amount of water and scrubbing action your mop uses.

A mapping function helps your robot navigate through rooms. A feature for avoiding obstacles will stop it from running into furniture, wires or even stray toys. These features are essential in my house, which is full of toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the company's flagship mop and vacuum, which is why it's a natural choice to be with a host of features. It can sweep and mop simultaneously, and even lift its mop pads or brushes so that soft surfaces don't get wet. It also can avoid obstacles by finding pets, plants, and other small objects.

The robot vacuum's maximum suction power is 6,600 pascals. This is higher than any robot vacuum we have test to date. It is also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation that tracks its location, preventing it from getting stuck on a surface.

The mopping capabilities of the S8 Pro Ultra are also impressive. It can continuously apply pressure to the pad that is over 6 Newtons to give a thorough clean. It also comes with a mop lifter system that lifts the pad automatically as it changes between tile and laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs to avoid soaking soft surfaces.

In addition to this it is also the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying features. The pad can be cleaned and dried in the dock, and the dust bin is automatically empty and returned to it. This means you can just set it and forget it, and only need to change the dust bag or refill the water tank every now and then.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I tested it with its normal mop and vac settings for around 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to be power-deficient and returned to its base to recharge. This isn't that far from the 180-minute time that Roborock claims, and is on the same level with other hybrids I've tested.

It's a comprehensive, reliable product. The only downside is that it's costly. The number of features makes it a very attractive option for anyone looking to replace their old mops and stick vacuums. If you can afford the cost we recommend you check this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end combination. The high price is justified by its robust features, including a large vacuuming capability and two mop heads that rotate. It also comes with an app-based, smart controller and a mighty obstacle avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros, which is one of the highest robotic vacuum and mop combinations available. In my tests, it performed well across the entire home. It was able to eliminate 98.4 percent of debris from all types of floors and managed to lift long hair without getting caught in. The mops were also great and produced excellent cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models, due to their rotational motion as well as a strong dose of cleaning solution.

The L10S Ultra's real highlight is its multi-functional docking station. The dock emptys its dustbin into dirt bag, fills its water tank to enable mopping and dry the mop pads for you. It also has a real-time safety detection system and allows you to schedule periodic cleaning sessions via its smart controls.

The L10S Ultra does not offer the best performance in removing carpet debris in comparison to the other hybrid mops I tested. Additionally it's not as efficient in removing tough stains like those in the premium Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's top-of-the-line features it still requires regular maintenance. To avoid mildew and unpleasant odors, the base unit, dustbag, and water tanks must be cleaned and emptied regularly. They also need to be dried. The mop pads that are sold separately will require changing regularly.

With the L10S Ultra's high-end cost and robust features I would recommend it to anyone with the money for it. For those who are on a tighter budget, I would suggest a more rudimentary model that allows you to save money while enjoying clean hands at home. Even it were the case that the L10S Ultra was the best robot mop and vacuum you could purchase, its high cost and constant maintenance will make it more of a want than need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you require to get rid of messes and clean dirt off your hard floors. This powerful robovac/mop set-up has a powerful suction capacity of 8,000 Pa. It also boasts a large battery capacity that can be used for both vacuuming as well as mowing. And it is equipped with a top-notch obstacle-avoidance system. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock, if you prefer to have the option of using your own brand of cleaner. If you decide to use this feature, however, you will need to buy the Eufy-branded cleaning solution, which is more costly than other robot brands allowing users to select their own choice of cleaning solutions.

Like most robots that are available, the S1 Pro did well in the area of coverage and navigation efficiency. It was fast to map a room and it easily navigated around furniture. It sat on carpets with longer piles a couple of times during my tests. However, this could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that has a lot of functionality at a reasonable cost.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock’s entry-level mop and vacuum cleaner but it does have several impressive features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot's dirtbag, refilling its water tanks, and cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is performed by the dock. The mopping system can sweep a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's suction power is perfect for picking up pet hair and other debris that accumulates on carpets.

The software that runs the appliance is quite dense, offering a wide variety of options to personalize the cleaning process. You can manually clean all areas that are mapped by this device, or choose individual rooms, expandable zone, or a custom routine you've designed. There are a number of mopping options that include SmartPlan -an algorithm that makes use of the sensors of the mops to determine the most efficient way to clean your home as it maps the area.

Like all Roborock models we've tested The Qrevo is a great performer in our tests. Its navigation system performs well in locating rooms quickly and cleaning them in a well-organized way. Its 'Normal' pathing setting does a great job of covering a room, leaving no major gaps or missed areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is quite reliable, too however it's not as advanced as the color camera system on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers such as carpets that are thick, but it may not be able to recognize smaller items such as electrical wires and rug tassels.

The one glaring flaw of this model is the absence of a mop after vacuum option that could be an issue for those who spend a lot of time vacuuming before cleaning with their robot vacuum with mop. There's a simple solution to this issue: the app offers a feature that lets you "clean up", at the end of each vacuuming session. This lets you use the vacuum's mopping capability to get rid of the last traces of dust and debris left behind by the vacuuming. This is a nice feature that lets this vacuum keep its cleanness a bit higher than its cheaper competitors.
