After that incident with the dreaded Amiba guy,

the numbness in my hand didn't go away for about three weeks

my wrist rehabilitation stalled in February and March

but in the last week or two, my hand movement has finally started to show signs of recovery.

The grip strength in my right hand, which was 0kg immediately after the surgery, has finally recovered to over 30kg

to a level where I can lead a normal life without any problems♪

So...

the next step is to get back on my bike!

So I'm getting excited about riding my bike for the first time in a while!

So I'm going to try riding an on-road mini bike, which is less stressful on the body!

So I pulled out my CBR150 for the first time in a while!

However,

I had left this bike for over half a year,

so the battery was completely dead...????

So, I started by charging the battery♪ Then, I did some maintenance, such as greasing up each part, and decided to go to the Haruna circuit for the first time in six months!

On the way to the circuit, I passed the Self-Defense Forces garrison in Somahara, and the cherry blossoms were in full bloom♪???? The cherry blossoms near my house had already started to fall, so I was glad to make a detour to see them♪

And finally, it was my first time at the circuit in six months☆彡 I thought that I would find someone I knew at the circuit, and sure enough, almost all the usual members were there????

So, as usual, we chatted and prepared for the ride, and it was time for my first bike ride in six months!

I wondered if there had ever been a time in my bike life when I didn't ride a bike for six months? I entered the course thinking about this.

As expected, the movement of my right hand still felt strange, and braking and throttle work in right corners still felt painful...

I'm still a long way from full throttle, but today is the first day of rehabilitation, so I'm going to concentrate on exercising at about 60% pace.

I usually ride for 60 minutes straight, but today I had pain in my right hand, so I pitted in after 30 minutes.

While I was in the pit, I shifted the balance of the bike to the rear with the suspension set to avoid strain on my wrist, and went back on the course.

Then, the strain on my wrist was reduced somewhat, and I was able to ride more easily, so I was able to concentrate on riding♪ But today, I maintained a pace of about 60% throughout the ride! My time was 3 seconds slower than my personal best, but for me, it was a big step forward towards recovery☆彡

Wow, it's been a long six months...

Well, I'm still far from my usual riding style, but I'm glad I was able to confirm that my injury has healed to the point where I can roll the bike♪

And when the exercise was finished, I got hungry...

So, on the way back from Haruna, I went to the usual restaurant and had my usual meat lunch! Yes yes.

Finally my daily life is back ????

Next week I have my 6 month checkup after surgery.

I'll check the level of bone regeneration with a CT scan

and decide on the date for the plate removal surgery,

but these days I'm hoping that removing the plate will improve my hand movement
