World of Warcraft - item upgrades upgrading (More Support)

Item upgrading allows players to boost an item's gear score up to 700 and also add a final perk. Items can be upgraded if they are in your inventory and you bring them to the Kiln.

Certain items can be upp'd to benefit from their unique stats (like perfect broken point armour that is rolled for melee PvP) while other items, such as weapons don't change much post upgrade and thus aren't worth upgrading.

Weapons

Weapons can be upgraded to improve their numeric stats such as the chance to crit, attack damage, PvE and damage from PvP. Weapons come with a flat-rate bonus that increases damage per second. A lot of weapons also have a fixed bonus which is activated when three or more identical weapons are placed in a single unit. In some instances, this bonus could amount to more than the amount of damage a weapon is able to upgrade by itself.

The cost of upgrading a weapon is contingent on its rarity and level. For example an item with a rating of +2 will require two regular Smithing Stones to upgrade while the +3 model requires four. The number of stones required to upgrade the gun will increase until it requires more Smithing Stones. At that point, it will reset back to one.

The upgrade of weapons can also change their base stats. While this is generally beneficial but it can also have negative consequences as well. Upgrades can make things inaccessible, unless you're extremely lucky.

The ability to upgrade armor items to improve their performance. In the case of chests or helms this will increase its base defense while gloves and belts improve their required strength and dexterity. Armor has a rerolling feature for its Enhanced Defense percent. This means that it can sometimes reduce its value.

The upgrade template of a weapon will show the new stats it will gain after upgrading along with the relative values of those stats. This means that the weapon will gain 33% attack damage when it is upgraded from an 8 attack damage sword to an 11 attack damage sword. However the 3% does not mean that it will hit for 3 times less often because it's an absolute number.

A weapon can also be rerolled using the green button, which is accompanied by circling arrows in the item menu. This will reroll the item and change its stats, however, it will not reset the weapon's levels or connect to the status of your account.

Armor

A few armor upgrades can make a huge difference to your survivability. Certain sets can provide MASSIVE improvements in the resistance to curses, poison fire, magic, and other. This makes it easier to get through difficult terrains. In general, the more defense you have on your character, the more health you'll get from each point. Therefore, it is recommended to upgrade your armor.

To upgrade your armor, go to one of the Great Fairy Fountains in the game. There are four fountains in all each of which requires you to complete a special side-quest involving the Stable Trotters musical troupe. After you've completed the main side quest and mastered the corresponding fountain and then you can speak to any Great Fairy to open up the menu for upgrading your armor.

Each piece of armor can be upgraded to three levels and the amount of materials and Rupees required for each level will differ. You'll require anything between three Red Chuchu jelly and 10 Rupees to upgrade the first armor piece, and anywhere between five Rubies or ten Fire-Breath Lizalfos Horns to upgrade item the next one. For example, the Champion Leathers can be upgraded to +5 defense, which allows you to keep pace with a large group of enemies in the majority of cold climates, and the Snowquill Headdress can be upgraded to +20 defense, giving you enough protection to survive a full on raid with a handful of friends.

It's important to note that armor cannot be upgraded in the same way as weapons, so you'll need to work on upgrading it for physical strength if you're a Warrior or Spell Power in the case of Mage. It is also recommended to save your armor upgrades to upgrade the armor you'll still be wearing at the end of the story, such as the Ring of Lightning, Spectral Shield or the mask you'll wear in the final boss fight The Monter Parts Merchant Mask.

You can also get some perks for your armor by presenting the jeweler at Gerudo Town 10 Twinkling Titanite. You'll typically want to keep these upgrades for the weapon that you'll use to win the game. Potions

Version 1.7.2 introduced a few changes to the mechanism of potions. Splash potions, for example, now have a duration that is 0:08 instead of 22.5 seconds displayed on the hover display of the item. The table of potion can now be made using four Wood Planks and two Glass. It can be used in both Survival and Bedrock. Bedrock Edition potions are not compatible with cauldrons, as is the case with Java Edition. The same applies to using a potion within an empty cauldron. This will deplete the potion and refill the bottle.

In addition, there are lingering potions, which are brewed with dragon breath and splash potions. Similarly, a lingering potions' effect is extended by adding redstone to it. Trinkets

Upgrade vendors can be found at the capitals of every zone, and sometimes in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets are available using tokens, gold or fragments of rare trinkets.

Upgrades to trinkets are a cost-effective alternative to purchasing new ones. It can be done by players for as little as 12 tokens. The new trinket will have the same base level as the previous trinket however, it will also come with an additional 1% bonus upgrade.

Once the old Trinkets are no longer useful, they can be upgraded. This allows players to increase both their power and value with time. They can also be traded between players, making them a popular alternative to gold.

Players should upgrade their most essential items first. This usually refers to the most valuable-in-slot items for their class, then their secondaries and then other pieces of gear that will not be replaced soon (for example, a ring or cloak). When choosing the items to upgrade, players should also be aware of the preferred statistics of their class. For example when Haste and Crit are the two most important stats for a tank, they should prioritize upgrading their helm, chest shoulders, belt, and helm.

Trinkets can be upgraded to a higher ilvl after they're no longer needed, and the new trinket can be upgraded to have an additional upgrade bonus of 1.
