WoW Upgrades - The item level upgrade Upgrader

Upgrades give a guaranteed boost to certain stats. Each upgrade increases the level of an Best item upgrader by 3. Each upgrade also increases an unspecified substat.

Upgraded gear is generally more valuable, unless the item is not required by nature (like FB sorc shields) or a high stat variance (like Eth Titan weapons). These types of gear get less value from upgrading due to the need to roll for a perfect model.

The item upgrader lets players upgrade their gear by giving the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied on any kind of armor or weapons. However, the Best item upgrader that is used to upgrade will be consumed forever and will not be able to be used again. Upgrades can be used to create enchantments.

Once purchased, an upgrade is able to be used on any weapon, tool or armor. The button will show the preview of an item's next upgrade level when there are enough materials.

Upgrade costs differ based on the slot for the item and the current level of the item. For example, weapons will cost more than gloves, bracers or bracers.
