Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can boost the power of a piece of gear and, sometimes, even add extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random enhancements that are applied.

For example, the elite shield of racial violence Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb ability in PvP or to provide additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable over the unupgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an acquired item like an armor, weapon, or ring. This replaces the item with another of the same kind, but with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method of upgrading gear. They don't preserve the original level of the item, and any resources wasted will not be refunded.

Survivors can obtain Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in crates and chests or buy them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute on a piece of equipment for example, increasing its damage or granting it a new stat.

Players can reroll their equipment using three aspects: physical power, magic power and health. Upgrades to physical power increase the damage of melee and weapons attack, while upgrades to spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional level of health.

There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to higher quality. To make them, you require a higher level token to reroll. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require items that are either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

Unlike other special tokens and markers placed on Action spaces the reroll marker stays in the space until the next successful result is rerolled. This helps to ensure that upgrades are not wasted.

Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Phase, and are opened by grabbing them with Interact. Once they are open they show a complete description and the icon of the relevant appliance or ingredient. The restaurant's store will exchange blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.

In the course of a run, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to chosen Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop can offer for rerolls and also those that are in the Non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

Weapons and armor, as well as accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that boost the quality of an item by increasing its stats and attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. The process of obtaining Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be daunting for new players. There are many ways to acquire the stones. Leveling

Leveling is an option that allows you to increase the stats of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. It is achieved by adding upgrade components at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume upgrade components and grant the item an increased level, which gives the item an additional boost in that particular area. This process continues until the item reaches its highest level.

Items that have upgraded base stats display the blue icon in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, can't be applied to more than one item at once. Each upgrade component will require an amount of items and a minimum level of equipment.

The upgrade items Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can choose to add an item to be upgraded. On the right side, a preview shows what the gear looks like at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow after the player has enough materials will initiate the upgrade process.

A piece of gear can be upgraded up to five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its base stats will increase by a small percentage. The maximum level of an item is 19.

When an item is at its maximum capacity that it can no longer have the option to upgrade. Once a piece of equipment reaches a specific upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades for that track will have a discount.

Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can slot into armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets to give an additional effect or bonus while the equipment is equipped. They can be bought from vendors, looted or obtained by completing quests or exchanged between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs which can be removed and replaced at will.

Requirements

Item upgrades give players the ability to increase certain stats on weapons and armor they currently own. The requirements to upgrade an item vary depending on the kind of item, but typically you'll need Dilithium and a variety of Upgrade Tokens (various options available).

Upgrades to an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components include additional modifiers that can improve the item's stats.

The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" For example, increases base defense and gives an additional 20 percent chance of blocking. In addition, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.

Certain items benefit from being upgraded less for their increased stats and more because it allows players to get the maximum amount of value from a flawless roll on the item. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for instance is highly coveted by the melee PvP communities and could be worth 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.

The game will highlight the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that goes into the item. These include the item type (either Armor or Weapon), the tier of that item, the upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
