If you're looking to buy a high-tech vacuum Shark AI Ultra 2-in-1 Robot Vacuum & Mop is a great alternative. It comes with a huge dock that can last for weeks without needing to be emptied. It also has impressive navigation and auto vacuum-emptying capabilities on carpets and bare floors. It also has a smart mapping system, and can be programmed to only run during certain hours (a useful feature to stop mischievous children and dextrous animals from running wild). The Shark isn't as powerful as other mop/robot combination models however it does pick up pet hair and hair extremely well. It's also the highest value of our top choices.

The best combo vacuum choice for hardwood floors

Robot vacuums are the best choice for hardwood floors, as they can navigate around obstacles without causing damage to bare surfaces. They are excellent at of removing crumbs and dust, but they aren't able to handle pet hair and other large debris. They don't have the suction of the top canister or upright vacuum, making them a poor choice for deep cleaning upholstery or carpeted areas.

The best two-in-1 robots combine a vacuum and a mop and take care of the entire chore in one pass. Choose models that have an onboard sensor to detect changes in the floor texture and adjust suction in line with the changes. If your home is mostly made up of hardwood floors, you should consider an automated vacuum and mop combo like the eufy S1 Pro. This model is an impressive robotic vacuum that has intelligent navigation that can clean hardwood and other surfaces. It also mop. The sensors help it avoid staircases and other hazards, so you don't have to be worried about the robot falling down the stairs and damaging your hardwood.

The Eufy S1 Pro mop is designed to wash hardwood floors using downward pressure, not simply swab them in order to remove dirt and dust. Its pads that can be reused reduce waste and spread less germs. They can also be cleaned at docking stations to help save time. The mops can also be washed and dried to prevent the spread of mold.

The robovac can be operated by your smartphone, making it much easier to use.
