Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customized with an application that is specifically designed for. You can save maps of your house and create cleaning schedules and choose mopping modes. They also allow you to alter suction power and fine-tune the amount of water and the scrubbing action of your mop.

A mapping function helps your robot navigate around rooms. A feature for avoiding obstacles will stop it from running into furniture, wires or even stray toys. These are essential features for my home, which is filled with strewn-about toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the company's flagship vacuum and mop, comes packed with features. It's able to both mop and sweep in one session and can lift its mop pads and brushes to prevent soft surfaces from becoming wet. It can also see and avoid obstacles, thanks to the ability to identify pets plants, small objects.

The robot vacuum's maximum suction power is 6 000 pascals. This is more than any robot cleaner with mop vacuum we have examined to date. It also has PreciSense LiDAR Navigation to track its location, preventing it from getting stuck on a surface.

The S8 Pro Ultra's mopping capabilities are also impressive. It can provide constant pressure to the pad of over 6 Newtons to give a thorough clean. It also has mop lifter technology which lifts the pad automatically as it transitions between tile and laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs to avoid soaking soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self drying features. The pad can be cleaned and then dried with the dock and the dust container is automatically empty and returned to it. This means that you can set it and forget it, and only need to change the dust bag or refill the water tank every now and then.

All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. I ran it on its normal vac and mop settings for approximately 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to run low on power and then return to its base for a recharge. This isn't that far from the 180-minute time that Roborock claims and is at the same level as other hybrids I've tried.

It's a comprehensive, reliable product. The only issue is that it's pricey. The number of features makes it a very attractive option for anyone looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. If you can afford the cost we strongly recommend checking this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a premium mop and robot vacuum. The premium price is justified by the powerful features, including a large vacuuming capability, as well as two mop heads that gyrate. It also comes with a smart, app-enabled controller and a mighty obstacle avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros, which is one of the highest robotic cleaner and mop vacuum and mop combinations available. In my tests, it performed very well in all areas of the house, removing 98.4 percent of debris from all floors and managing to lift long hair without getting caught in. The mops were also excellent and produced excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models, due to their rotational motion and the powerful cleaning solution.

The docking station is the primary selling point of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and advanced. The dock emptys its dustbin into a dirt bag, refills its water tank to enable mopping and dries its mop pads for you. It also features an in-real-time system for detecting hazards and allows you to schedule regular cleaning sessions with its intelligent controls.

The L10S Ultra does not offer better performance for removing carpet debris compared to the other hybrid mop I tested. In addition the mops aren't capable at scrubbing away tough stains like those in the premium Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features, it requires regular maintenance. Its base station needs to be emptied and the dustbag and water tanks must be emptied, cleaned and dried regularly to prevent mildew and unpleasant odors. It is also important to note that the mop pads, that are bought separately, are required to be replaced periodically too.

With the L10S Ultra's high-end cost and robust features I would recommend it to anyone with the budget for it. If you're on a tight budget I suggest a more basic model that allows you to save money and still enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. Even it were the case that the L10S Ultra was the best robot mop and vacuum you could find, its high price and ongoing maintenance will make it seem more an item to have than one that you actually need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're in search of a robot mop and vacuum that will pick up dirt and dust on your hard floors, while taking care of wet mess take a look at the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop set-up has a powerful suction power of 8,000 Pa. It also has a huge battery capacity that can be used for mopping and vacuuming. And it is equipped with a top-notch obstacle-avoidance system. It comes with a roller-mop that cleans by itself, making it stand out from other models which require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a big departure from the microfibre pads and spinning discs that other robots. The roller is almost entire length of the bot, and it is constantly filled with clean, ozonated water from its dock. As it rotates, the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt and any dry debris is picked up by the side brushes or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then takes the mop water into its base station where it is sucked up by the tank's heating elements and dumped into a larger storage container. The tank that is onboard holds plenty of water, and it can manage about a dozen mopping sessions before running dry.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use out of the package, just like most other robotic vacuums/mops. The S1 Pro will need to be filled with clean water. This can be accomplished in the cleaning dock. If you want to use your own cleaner you can add a cleaning solution to the dock. If you opt for this option however, you'll have to purchase the Eufy-branded cleaning solution, which is more costly than other robot hoover brands, allowing you to choose your preferred brand of cleaners.

As with most robots, the S1 Pro did well in navigation efficiency and coverage evaluations. It was quick to map the area and was able to navigate around furniture. It was stuck on carpets with longer piles a few times during my tests. However this could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very capable all-in-one robot for an affordable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's cheapest mop and vacuum, and it still offers some impressive features. Its multifunction dock empties the robot's dirtbag and refills its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing mop pads as it goes. The mopping system is capable of cleaning a good robot vacuum bit of an area before it needs to return to its dock and the vacuum's high suction does a nice job of removing dirt and pet hair from carpets.

The application that runs the appliance is quite extensive, and provides many options to customize the cleaning process. You can manually initiate an entire map and clean of everything that is mapped by the device or you can select particular rooms, expandable zones or even a routine you've created. There are many mopping options which include SmartPlan -- an algorithm that utilizes the mops' sensors to find the most efficient way to clean your home as it maps the space.

Like the other Roborock models we've tested The Qrevo performs well in our tests. Its navigation system is efficient by quickly mapping rooms and cleaning them in a well-organized manner. The default pathing setting does an excellent job of covering a room, leaving no major gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance function works well too, but it's not as advanced as the color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It is able to detect dangers like carpets with thick padding, but might not be able to detect smaller objects such as electrical wires or rug tassels.

The one glaring flaw of this model is the absence of a mop after vacuum option which could be an issue for those who do a lot of vacuuming prior to cleaning with their robot. Fortunately, there's a simple alternative: the app has an option to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. This allows you to use the vacuum's mopping capability to get rid of the last remnants of dust and debris that are left behind by your vacuuming. It's a nice touch, and it helps the robot to make its clean better than its less expensive competitors.
