WoW Upgrades - The item upgrading Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a boost to certain stats. Each upgrade boosts the item level by +3. Each upgrade also increases the random substatus.

Upgraded gear is generally more valuable, unless it has low requirements by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a large variance in stats (like the eth Titan weapons). Upgrades aren't as useful for those with lower requirements due to the need to roll a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader enables players to upgrade their gear to a higher level by supplying the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be made on any kind of weapon or armor. However, the item that is used for the upgrade will be consumed for the duration of time and cannot be used again. Upgrades can be applied to Enchantments.

You can upgrade your equipment anytime by visiting the upgrader in any major city. To keep your gear up-to-date it is recommended that you visit the upgrader every several weeks.

The cost of upgrading will be based on the current level of the gear being upgraded however, they will always be cheaper than buying new equipment from other sources. Upgrades such as upgrading a Benthic chest up to the level of ilvl385 will cost you 20 recycle points. A similar item will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to upgrade tools, armor, weapon and accessory upgrades. They can be purchased by players from item upgraders NPCs for a variety of currencies. They can also find them in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade has been purchased it can be used on any weapon, tool, or armor using a button, which displays a preview of the item at its next upgrade level in the event that the player has enough materials.

Upgrade costs differ based on the slot for the item and the current level of the item. For instance weapons are more expensive than gloves, bracers, or bracers.
